The next Käsepele Innovation Festival will take place on 1 July 2027 at the SICK Arena in Freiburg. Visitors will have an exciting opportunity to see groundbreaking technologies, creative solutions and forward-thinking ideas first-hand, and to exchange ideas in a lively setting.
The Käpsele Innovation Festival is a B2B event for start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises, and experts from the worlds of science, business and politics. Members of the public with an interest in innovation are also very welcome – tickets are available from our ticket shop.
Around 2,000 visitors are expected on the day of the festival in 2027.
All of our 2027 speakers are expected to be announced on our website in stages from the start of 2027. In the meantime, feel free to draw inspiration from the 2026 and 2025 speakers.
The Käspele Innovation Festival 2027 will take place on 1 July 2027. We will publish details of the opening hours on our website in good time.

Our highly sought-after early bird tickets were available from 21 January 2026 to 31 March 2026. From 1 April 2026, tickets will be on sale at the standard price. If early-bird tickets are available for Käpsele 2027, we will post details on our website.
Yes, there were 2,026 different ticket categories.
- The gourmet tickets: These tickets include food and drink.
- Self-catering tickets: These tickets do not include food or drink.
We offer discounted tickets for groups of five, as well as for start-ups, students and apprentices.
Yes, all masterclasses, regardless of when they take place, are included in the ticket price.
Yes, we offer all ticket types at a reduced price for students and apprentices. These are known as Startup Tickets.

Start-up tickets are for people who have set up a business in the last 10 years or are planning to do so, as well as for students and apprentices.
All information about the programme, the masterclasses and the interactive stations can be found under the ‘Programme’ menu item.
If by ‘exhibitor list’ you mean our interactive stations, these will be published here on the website over the next few weeks. You’ll be able to find our masterclasses online from May onwards.

During the festival, you can only pay by card.
Yes, just show your ticket again at the entrance.
Yes, you can use the guest car park at the Freiburg Exhibition Centre.
We recommend the Grünhof – a well-established co-working space with two locations in Freiburg. If you need to quickly check your emails whilst you’re there, you can use the quiet ‘Waldbaden’ festival area.
All vacancies at FWTM and the IHK Südlicher Oberrhein can be viewed on their respective websites.
Yes. Professional photography and video teams will be on hand throughout the day and will be present at the stages, interactive stations and masterclasses. Visitors are also welcome to take photos and videos – please always respect other people’s privacy.
Yes, in our forest bathing area, you can retreat and work in peace.
Our Start-up Area offers the ideal space for you to network with start-ups and medium-sized businesses.
Yes, our menu offers a high-quality selection of dishes – including, of course, vegetarian and vegan options.
Unfortunately, you’re not allowed to bring your own food and drink. However, even if you have a self-catering ticket, you can still choose from a wide range of options on site.

Yes, we have a medical service on site.
There is a cloakroom, although it is unattended. We accept no liability for items left there.
Yes, the entire festival site is accessible to people with disabilities.
The Käpsele Innovation Festival is a business event and is primarily intended for adults. Children may only attend under parental supervision. There is no on-site childcare available.
