Save the Date: 1 July 2027

The date has been set – and it’s one not to be missed: the next Käpsele Innovation Festival will take place at Messe Freiburg on 1 July 2027.

The third edition demonstrated what is possible when 2,000 innovators from business, academia, start-ups, politics and civil society come together for a day. 
Topics such as artificial intelligence, digital sovereignty, defence tech and Europe’s competitiveness ensured packed stages, in-depth discussions and plenty of lively debate. 

The record attendance in 2026 makes it clear: Käpsele strikes a chord – and interest is growing.

It continues in 2027. A day when research meets industry, start-ups meet SMEs, and bold ideas meet the people who bring them to life. A place where alliances for the day after tomorrow are forged and the future is not just discussed, but experienced first-hand.
